This is where we take an ordinary bride and turn her into an Extraordinary Bride!
Jeanne-Marie is a Professional Make-Up Artist with more than 15 years experience. She is a travelling make-up artist and she has worked on numerous Magazine photo shoots, Music videos, Bridal shows, Celebrity Fashion shows and Events.
She recounts in her own words: “I have been going on location to projects for years but unlike other artists I am compulsive with my work and my business. Every time I do makeup for a photo shoot—I try to direct it. Every time I start to teach one student—three more show up. Every time I paint I find the need to spread out and find more room. I am a person that loves what I do and I really just love to work. I love the environment when I am working at wedding and I wanted to take that high energy, fun, creative place and make it go from two hours to permanent!"
Jeanne-Marie is a young dynamic business women, who at the age of 18, whilst still in her first year of Beauty College training, had the opportunity to open her own salon with the help of her parents.
• In February 2006 Jeanne-Marie decided to take a leap of faith and expand her business and bought the first Multi-Well Slimming Salon franchise (a concept of the Willa Krause group) The doors reopened in August 2006 with a new look. A Salon of the year 2006 South Africa Award followed soon after.
• The Salon expanded to 10 Treatment rooms, 1 Spray Tan booth, 3 nail stations and a sunbed room. It also includes a bathroom, with a shower, for clients to use after a full body Mud wrap or after a slimming treatment.We have moved to a smaller more intimate area so we will be offering treatments outdoors, by the pool, in the garden and in the treatment room.

Jeanne-Marie has won numerous awards over the years, some of them incl. being the youngest candidate ever to be nominated by the SA Woman's Business chamber as Business woman of the year in 2006 where she came 6th out of over a 100 candidates, she has won Willa Krause Salon of the year in 2006 also over the years a lot of awards for best Marketing Manager, best Salon Retail and best Salon. She is currently a finalist in the Professional Beauty Spa Manager of the year 2014 awards.
